Für das Opel Rekord 2 Türer 1700S Modell von 1967 bemerkte ich, dass sich auf beiden Seiten ein leeres Loch in der Nähe der Motorhalterung befindet. Ist das normal?


Sieht dies auch wie die Original-Motorplatte aus?

The reason I am asking about the engine mounts, is because when I am releasing the clutch when I am in first gear, it intermittently (1 out 5) slips causing the entire car to share/vibrate. Troubleshooting led me to 2 areas that I am not sure if they are even related to the problem.

1) Engine mounts .Attached are better pictures. Not sure if that will cause the vibration/clutch slip. Would like to get your thoughts.
2) Clutch cable. It seem the small boot is torn. See attached photo.

i could be the engine mounts too, so before investing more time and money just replace them, they are not that expensive and rather easy to replace.
