See what I bought last week. The fellow I bought spare parts from told me the story: his family used to own Rekord C sedan that his father had bought from west Germany almost 40 years ago. He said it cost 12 000 DM

my parents also had rekord C's - my mom a cheap 500 german mark c-rekord caravan some
time when i was a kid around 14 years old. years later my dad had a white c-coupe and later a
a red coupe i liked soooo much...remember when he sold it for a used dark blue bmw
e28 520 i was close to tears...but he liked the dark blue color of the beamer what
helped him to overtake other cars because some people were thinking its a civil
police car and did not overspeed....everybody did back in the late seventies...

the police drove behind you and red their own speedometer - that how you get
your speeding ticket in earlier times.

reminds me on the b-coupe restauration here took my lot of hours because it was

To get all that spareparts in remote bulgaria was a difficult job....

what interior color will you have ?

The interior is mainly dark red and is ready. I'll take some pictures these days.
The header is white and is ready too.
I also have all the glasses and new front and rear glass rubber seals - from Germany - O.T.R.

will look for some parts - maybe will get some from other
